Unclear error message when Basic Authentication has a bad header format

    Description

      When rest requests are made with a poorly formatted Authentication header, the error message is 500 and conveys an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException. The error should convey that the Headers are malformed, encapsulated in an AuthenticationException.
