As noted in the excellent analysis of CONTROLLER-1983 by ivan.hrasko@pantheon.tech , we can isolate actors which interact with NormalizedNode-carrying messages. Any actor carrying NormalizedNode structure needs to be prepared to have a ton of data, which might have been neatly added through augmentations.
Since we do not have a general Akka/NormalizedNode fragmentation mechanism, we fail at being a good citizen.
As a first step to remediation, make sure we mark actors for use with large-message-size.
