Description
We have defaulted to tell-based protocol since version 5, as per CONTROLLER-1983. Deprecate ask-based protocol it for removal – thus soliciting feedback.
This means we should issue a stern LOG.warn() whenever the ask-based protocol is selected and we need to @Deprecate(forRemoval = true) all classes used solely by ask-based protocol.
