based on discussions rovarga, zxiiro and I just had on IRC:

we want a simple statically hosted http://javadocs.opendaylight.org kind of site.

~~ODLPARENT-70~~ and RELENG-42 (and maybe others, see Depends on) are pre-reqs for this end goal.

This MAY go through a (new?) ODL intermediate git repo, to be served by readthedocs.

RELENG-3 Javadocs are not being generated for controller APIs

ODLPARENT-108 javadoc.opendaylight.org++ e.g. with search functionality

ODLPARENT-124 POC odlparent's JavaDoc on javadoc.opendaylight.org (and then afterwards replicate this to get all ODL projects on it)

is blocked by

RELENG-42 Produce JavaDoc site for entire release

ODLPARENT-70 New odlparent Maven Profile / Parent / whatever-it-takes to be able to build a JavaDoc site

RELENG-62 deploy-site.xml should wipe prior content on https://nexus.opendaylight.org/content/sites/site/
