    Description

      Odlparent provides features-parent, which supports VERSION replacement (instead of version properties) and inheriting from that would make POM files smaller and more easily maintainable.

      This is an improvement intended for Carbon, possibly to be cherry-picked to stable/boron (or even beryllium).
