Automatically generate AUTHORS file for inclusion in jar

It would be nice if we can use git log to automatically scan the committers list of who contributed to the creation of the jar file. This scanning will likely need to be done via a custom Maven plugin which ensures that it only scans the history for the project that produces the jar and not for all projects in a repo.
