Statistics gathering is not properly terminated

Currently when stopping statistics gathering when device is disconnected, we only cancel settable future and than prevents next statistics gathering from occuring, but current statistics gathering what is running is still finished (possbily with errors).
This currently running statistics gathering needs to be cancelled too.
