Description
Currently when a new OpenROADM node is added to the netconf topology, link discovery is performed by reading LLDP data from the device, whether it is a ROADM or an Xponder device. This seems unnecessary in the case of Xponder nodes since LLDP is only used on ROADM OSC interfaces. Some processing could be saved if a check for node type is performed before reading LLDP data.
