Distribution Fluorine Release Details

Distribution project continues to be the placeholder for all projects participating in the Simultaneous Release.

Changes in Fluorine Release:

• Remove version feature: This feature while useful relayed on deprecated Config Sub-System (CSS) so there was no other choice than removing it and try to provide that information some other way.

• Add Full distribution: Fluorine is the first release implementing the new managed release process described in https://docs.opendaylight.org/en/stable-fluorine/release-process/managed-release.html. The karaf-x distribution used in past releases becomes the Managed Distribution made of Release Integrated (MRI) and Snapshot Integrated projects (MSI) projects. The opendaylight-x will be the new distribution including Managed and Self-Managed projects.

• Add Sanity test for Full distribution: New daily job to verify all user features can be installed in the Full distribution: https://jenkins.opendaylight.org/releng/view/Sanity/job/distribution-sanity-fluorine/
