Description
The VTN Project provides a Network Virtualization Implementation for Opendaylight. The user can model the network using components in VTN model like vbridge and vterminals. The VTN implementation will ensure that the model is realized on a Openflow Network.
The major features supported by VTN are
a. VTN Implementation: User can add ODL as Controller to any Openflow Network. Model the Network using VTN Rest API and connect the hosts. The Model will be realized using OpenFlow entries.
b. Openstack Integration: ODL with VTN Feature can be used with Openstack as a Networking Provider. VTN can handle basic L2 Operations and provide connectivity.
No new features were developed in Oxygen.
