SFC Fluorine Release Plan

During the Fluorine release, the SFC project plans to work on the following items:

• Service Function and Service Function Forwarder statistics
• Non-NSH, VXLAN-based service chaining encapsulation
• Increased UT coverage, with the target of reaching 75% coverage
• OVS 2.9 NSH support
  • This will mostly be in the OpenFlow plugin
• Improve Networking SFC support
  • Classify in router ports in addition to VM ports (for external traffic)
  • This will most likely be covered in the Netvirt code base
