 Description

We have some old test suites running in a private lab, which are making things easier by editing etc/org.opendaylight.aaa.authn.cfg to set authEnabled=false so that restconf requests do not require authentication.
That does not work anymore for recent Beryllium snapshots.

I guess etc/shiro.ini has to be edited in line 78 to achieve analogous effect of disabling authentication.
But I have only found shiro.ini mentioned here [0], and I am still not sure what to write after equal sign.

Is there a wikipage I am missing?

I updated some of the said old test suites, but it did not help; so issues in the private lab may be caused by something else.

But this Bug still stands, good documentation on configuring authentication is needed.

The specific issue with authEnabled is now tracked as AAA-85.
Keeping this open as a separate documentation Bug.

Will add to proper docs too.
