Regression testing for BGP: the idea is to check if all available data from BGP speaker is shown and correct in each new release.

What should be tested in regression?

• successful connection to BGP speaker - on the side of router
• RESTCONF URLs reporting correct data : https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/BGP_LS_PCEP:Restconf (Peter B has most of the tests done).
• synchronization check:

• "monkey-testing" - simulate link/node/prefix down, that should trigger an Update message from BGP speaker
  and RESTCONF data should be updated
• same with adding link/node/prefix (after initial synchronization)

Ideally if you can configure the test suite to run automatically with each new release (a new link appears in nexus) or at least daily.

For RESTCONF tests also check XML as well as JSON data.
