org.opendaylight.controller.cluster.raft.behaviors.LeaderTest.testLeaderCreatedWithCommitIndexLessThanLastIndex test is not stable and fails verify and merge jobs occasionality. THis increases burden on contributors and commiters and prolongs review uncessary. This behaviour may be bug in test / testing strategy and/or tested components. |

The LeaderTest should be solid now after https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/12970/. I don't know what the specific failure was with testLeaderCreatedWithCommitIndexLessThanLastIndex but I assume it's similar to the ConcurrentModificationException encountered in another test. After those fixes LeaderTest ran over 500 times without failure. I'm assuming this bug was reported against stable/helium. There is a patch https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/13052/1 but it needs to be merged. |
