Java 9 has introduced java.lan.ref.Cleaner and related interfaces. This should provide a simpler way to keep track of objects that need finalization – try to use them instead of com.google.common.base.FinalizablePhantomReference |

FinalizablePhantomReference replaced with Cleaner in ClientBackedTransaction and in controller.cluster.io package. |
