There are discussions for other additional OOB settings that we should add to the run.sh and run.bat files. They are: -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError --> This will create a .hprof when the controller crashes with an out of memory error. Otherwise it has no overhead.
-XX:MaxPermSize=512m There have been discussions of having to constantly increase the max perm size. |

Lithium and Helium is Karaf based and run.sh was deprecated there. |
