Question... what features did you load?

If you just load odl-dlux-core but not any of the features that provide rest for it then it has nobody to authenticate with...

try

feature:install odl-l2switch-switch odl-dlux-core

and see if that works.

Try to follow this wiki page https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/OpenDaylight_dlux:Dlux_Karaf_Feature

restconf feature enables all restconf APIs, without those, dlux won't work at all

This bug just disappears with the latest Helium build (distribution-karaf-0.2.0-Helium.zip, Wed Sep 24 16:55:46 UTC 2014.

DLUX still shows "Unable to login", I have installed the following features as required.
odl-config-all odl-aaa-authn odl-aaa-netconf-plugin odl-aaa-sssd-plugin odl-mdsal-all odl-restconf-all odl-l2switch-switch odl-dlux-core

Here is the latest karaf log:
2015-01-10 01:44:27,375 | INFO | Local user karaf | HttpServiceFactoryImpl | 218 - org.ops4j.pax.web.pax-web-runtime - 3.1.0 | Binding bundle: [org.opendaylight.dlux.web_0.2.0.SNAPSHOT [319]] to http service

Do you have any idea? If you have any pointer for me to troubleshoot this problem, please let me know, you are appreciated!

Thank you for your reply!

I opened DLUX in Chrome, I didn't see any log related to the failure in Karaf. What do you mean by "the browser console log"? Thanks!

if you right click on browser page and do inspect element, it open up the developer window. Go to console tab, that shows all the errors.

Hi,

I installed 3 more features, I can log into DLUX now, do you know why these features affect DLUX? Thanks!

feature:install odl-mdsal-clustering
feature:install odl-openflowplugin-flow-services
feature:install http
bundle:install -s mvn:org.jolokia/jolokia-osgi/1.1.4

For details, I referred to the 1st part of this guide. https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/Running_and_testing_an_OpenDaylight_Cluster

http should be there before also. Only feature that could have affected is odl-openflowplugin-flow-services,because this feature enables restconf APIs that dlux use and can't function without them. but if you have installed l2-switch, this feature gets installed automatically.
