This "stable-silicon" documentation page only lists the Aluminum version of the sample app. I.e., it shows `1.4.0-SNAPSHOT` but `1.5.0-SNAPSHOT` for Silicon is not listed. Also, when I tried filling in 1.5.0-SNAPSHOT, it did not work.

 

So this is a two part issue

  1. Please update the stable-silicon page to reflect the actual Silicon version of ODL
  2. Please release a version (snapshot or otherwise) for Silicon app development.

The reason is we have not released Archetype project in Silicon yet due to lack of community resources. Will you be interested in contributing this?

I am a bit of a newb to this project. Can you point me to some kind of documentation in how to produce an ODL archetype or to how the previous sodium archetype was produced (so I can maybe reverse engineering how it's done)...

Basically we need a patch to update all the dependencies for Silicon GA (or SR1) release: https://docs.opendaylight.org/projects/integration-distribution/en/stable-silicon/platform-versions.html and then release that. Releasing code is easy so it all boils to prepare the patch with the updated versions in the master branch.
