Currently the OpenStack guide shows a reasonable set of breadcrumbs on the left here: On the other hand the Getting Started Guide only shows a non-link for "This Page" and "Show Source", but no table of contents or breadcrumbs. |

Basically, the left navbar is just sections. If a page doesn't have sections, it won't get a useful navbar. |
