| Description |

IdManager currently uses RPC provided by lockmanager which infinitely tries to acquire a lock. We have seen problems, where the tryLock() results in asktimeouts, and lockmanager keeps on re-trying, and the JobCoordinator jobs get stuck. IdManager should switch to the timeout version of tryLock, with a reasonable time-out value |
