while bumping io.dropwizard.metrics : metrics-core & metrics-jvm from old 3.2.5 to latest current non-RC release 4.0.2, I noticed that 5.0.0 and 4.1.0 are about to be released also, see https://github.com/dropwizard/metrics/releases, so we should bump to that when they are out without RC. |

So... https://github.com/dropwizard/metrics/releases shows a 5.0.0-rc2 from May 3, but on https://search.maven.org/search?q=io.dropwizard.metrics we find a 5.0.0 from Feb 1st, and a <groupId>io.dropwizard.metrics5 (note the suffix *5) version 5.0.0-rc2 from May 3rd - that doesn't seem right. On https://github.com/dropwizard/metrics it still says that the 4.0.x is the current release train, and 4.1.x and 5.x.x are future. We are currently on 4.0.2 and there is a 4.0.3, so I'll just bump to that for now in https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/75736/, and de-scope 4.1.x or 5.x.x from Neon - we'll get back to this whenever they release non RC. |
