 Description   

I tried the following

1. Cloned the latest integration code

2. git checkout stable/lithium

3. mvn install

4. Executed bin/karaf from distributions/karaf/target/assembly/

Executed the following commands,

The same steps followed in the integration-compatible-with-all tests in CSIT.

feature:repo-add mvn:org.opendaylight.integration/features-integration-test/0.3.0-SNAPSHOT/xml/features

feature:install odl-integration-compatible-with-all odl-vtn-manager-rest

a. The features failed to complete installing. The VTN Manager did not come up for a really long time,

I think the reason this particular job you show here is failing is:

I already tooked packetcable out of the integration-compatible-with-all, so you shoukld be fine.

Hi venkat, you are right, there is an integration issue with vtn manager when installed with other features. Unfortunately this is only with vtn manager as I do not see any other project failing when installed with other features.

I guess the only way to troubleshoot this is:

  • brut force: to start vtn manager with less features until finding out what feature is breaking vtn mgr. I think this will be very time consuming but if you have the time, you can give it a try.
  • bring a vtn developer and find out why vtn mgr does not start when installed with many other features. I think we tried similar with Hideyuki last release but we never were able to reproduce this issue outside ODL CI. If you can easily reproduce this outside ODL I would recommend this way.
