 Description   

This bug is to track the failures we currently have in CSIT. Basic mininet node pings are not working.

here is one job that sees it:

as compared to the stable/lithium job that is passing:
https://jenkins.opendaylight.org/releng/view/l2switch/job/l2switch-csit-1node-switch-all-stable-lithium/

it may have been broken for some time, as it was noticed by Luis Gomez back in July:

I don't have a root cause analysis yet, but there are now questions about this
on the mailing lists, so want to make this issue track-able with a bug.

Issue seems to be somewhere in these 2 patches, haven't been able to track it down yet pingall seems to work after reverting them: https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/23261/

I think the above patch has been merged and part of the distributions
used for CSIT now. from what I can tell, it did not fix the CSIT
job:

Well it seems it did if you look at the last run:

The 4 failures are well known and the same as in Li branch (issues L2SWITCH-15, L2SWITCH-44 and 3346)
