 Description

The sources jar is not being created for mdsal-binding-util. It use to be that all bundles would create a sources jar due to a statement in ODL parent.

That has likely been removed or this project is no longer in that logical parent path.

https://nexus.opendaylight.org/content/repositories/opendaylight.snapshot/org/opendaylight/mdsal/mdsal-binding-util/2.1.0-SNAPSHOT/ <-- you can see here that there is no "sources" jar.

The "bundle" is only a pom file. Would changing the packaging to "pom" from "bundle" fix the issue?

@Colin Dixon - actually that will likely cause a problem.

The "bundle" is included in this feature (at least it was for BE):

org.opendaylight.mdsal/features-mdsal/...features.xml

If there is no code there and it is just a pom can we remove it from the features.xml file?

I did that here:
https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/45929/ (master)
https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/46100/ (stable/boron)

and both are merged. I'll close this bug and we can reopen it later if we want to really fix the problem.
