| Description |
|
Currently there are some restrictions and limitations in DataBrokers provided by netconf mount points. For example there is no support for multiple open transaction at a time for one netconf mount. Transaction chains are supported just in odl-netconf-topology and not in odl-clustered-netconf-topology and mountpoints don't allow for two transaction chains to coexist at a time. In this milestone we should track all partial deviations from DataBroker API. |

The core problem here is the inefficient tunneling of MD-SAL capabilities over NETCONF. The two linked bugs, NETCONF-372 and NETCONF-373 should allow us to better accommodate concurrent transactions by shifting some of the state tracking down to the device, if it supports the extensions. |
