 Description

The NetVirt Karaf distribution, as well as the general ODL distribution, provide the AAA CLI tools in a JAR so that passwords can be set externally before the controller is started. We need a CSIT test for this (it’s been broken in the past).

Stephen, sounds like this would be a test on the aaa csit right? That should be a pretty straight-forward test to add. There are ways to update the environment before starting the controller. And then I guess a simple restconf call using the credentials would be enough to validate the feature.

shague, yes, it could go on AAA, but I’d also want to run it anywhere which depends on the CLI JAR — so NetVirt too...

Looks like this should go with a netvirt karaf suite of tests since that is the bundle with the aaa-cli.jar. We would need to create a job that runs with that distro.

will reopen if this is seen still as a req after resolving current major issues
