Priority: Normal

 Description

3-odl cluster
availability zone- single host

Procedure:
1. create 2 networks- net1-11.11.11.0/24 and net2-22.22.22.0/24 with gw on each- 11.11.11.254 and 22.22.22.254 resp.
2. create 2 VM's on net1
3. attach new interface to vm2, from net2- gets 22.22.22.2
4. add router interfaces and ping new IP (after adding it in the vm)
5. edit def gw on net1 to 11.11.11.250-

  • delete router interface,
  • recreate it with the new IP
  • edit subnet with the new gw
  • in both vm's edit the def gw
    6. ping 22.22.22.2 from vm1- works for a while then stops and restarts.
    7. check with ping to router ip, from both vm's- works for a while (~150 pings), then stops for about 150 pings, then starts again on its own.

topo screenshot, dump_flows from while it is not working and while it is and logs are attached.

From the logs we can see one of the ODLs didn't start correctly.
It was unable to connect to the cluster:

Looks like an environment issue.
