| Description |
|
in a HW-Vtep setup, We have encountered Null Pointer Exceptions in PhysicalSwitchUpdateCommand class, at setTunnels method. The following line: pSwitch.setName(physicalSwitchAugmentation.getHwvtepNodeName().getValue()) throws an exception because getHwvtepNodeName() returns null. |

The root cause of NPE still needs to be addressed. Suneelu provided a good overview of how populating physical switch in db works. Refer to HWVTEP recording on 4/11/2017 for reference, and has some ideas on how to address this. |
