In TC , "Ping Vm Instance1 In network_2 From network_1" , 60.0.0.3 is pinged from 50.0.0.2 . Both 50.0.0.0/24 and 60.0.0.0/24 subnets are added to router. Routes 50.0.0.2 and 60.0.0.2 are on OS_CONTROL_NODE. All the above routes need to be on all 3 DPNs , as they belong to same router (RouterVPN). OS_CONTROL_NODE, OS_COMPUTE_1 has all 8 routes , but OS_COMPUTE_2 has only 7 routes. The missing route on OS_COMPUTE_2 is 50.0.0.2 . Hence ping response can't go out of OS_COMPUTE_2.
