 Description   

When deploying OpenStack with OpenDaylight and ODL controller on a separate node and having the mapping of physical_network:interface for external traffic there is no Connectivity to the Instance's Floating IP unless there is an IP for the external interface in the Compute.

Can you please provide information whether you are using provider network type of VLAN or Flat.

Can you provide information about your network topology and if provider mappings are set for the external bridge.
