When ODL is deployed with nitrogen + new netvirt, while spinning nova instance DHCP lease is not happening for instances, there is no dnsmasq record in logs i could see, but while listing instances it shows ip over there, neither private ip is accessible from dhcp namespace |

I updated the bug correctly. We need to bring up ‘master’ devstack along with DHCP Agent, spin off a VM and then see why IP Address is not getting assigned. If it’s a ELAN flow problem at that point we will involve ELAN team with all the details. At this moment though, I tend to believe this may be an openstack ‘master’ issue rather than ODL issue, but we need to confirm that. |
