 Description   

Steps to reproduce:

1) Use ODL from distribution repo, stable/boron branch, odl-netvirt-openstack feature installed
2) Configure an OVS instance with a br-int bridge
3) Note the datapath ID of br-int (the decimal value of br-int mac address)
4) Set ODL as manager & controller
5) br-int has a new mac address and new datapath id

For future reference: I proposed the change [1] but the problem was not as clear as I once thought it was. There was some discussion on gerrit but the change has now be abandoned.

On my since of things I have since solved my issues by just waiting for ODL to configure the integration bridge before continuing further with own configuration.

We can reopen and continue the discussion on this bug report if need be.
