| Description |

Latest supported stream is 2.6.x, which is expected to be backwards-compatible with 2.5.x, with Artery being deemed production-quality and default. Versions 2.6.6 also includes Split-Brain Resolver, which would be a boon for deployments. |

With that fixed, akka-protobuf is broken as it is missing headers, causing a failure to resolve. We can wrap it ourselves (with proper headers), or wait for something to come out of https://github.com/woq-blended/akka-osgi (which is the result of https://github.com/akka/akka/issues/28304 ) |

Based on the state of OSGi support upstream (regressing, not caring) and usage in downstream projects, we have decided to not implement this upgrade. We will instead remove all Scala/Akka dependencies and let downstream (Controller) project provide the bare minimum packaging required. |
