 Description   

As part of overall GENIUS-82 I'm seeing a Karaf deadlocked in Equinox during shutdown (by Ctrl-D in Console), see attached equinox-deadlock-on-shutdown.txt.

This may or may not at all be related to CONTROLLER-1716.
