As part of the Li design, error notifications are suppressed as they are bound to get delivered as part of the Rpc Response. But the above does/may not hold true for experimenter error messages, which can be sent by the switch async and not in response to an rpc call. Error Notifications of experimenter type need to get published for the apps to deal with these errors. |

It's likely this has been already added - or it no longer is necessary for the applications. If needed a new bug can be opened for this. |
