When we receive a stream of unsolicited messages from the switch, such as PacketIns, these may include experimenter messages, too. Unlike PacketIns, we should not be dropping these when the notification broker, as they may confer state transitions. Add a small queue (64 item) queue to hold these in the time period when we are supressing packet in messages. Before resuming packet in processing this queue needs to be flushed, so that these are properly dispatched before we allow PacketIns to flow again. |
