 Description

https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/45271/ introduced regression in the OpenFlow cluster test:

https://jenkins.opendaylight.org/releng/view/CSIT-3node/job/openflowplugin-csit-3node-clustering-only-boron/

This impact entity-owner API behavior and updating the test cases will fix most of the failures.

I assigned to you Luiz this bug you wrote in mailing list you will check the test. Hopefully you don't mind

But Miroslav made cluster test and the behavior of controller when isolated seems to working on a strange way. We are not sure if it still an issue on controller or buggy test.

I don't know if inJeopardy flag was an blocker issue but I am afraid for this we will need more than just change the test. In my opinion the behavior of cluster was more stable before the patch https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/45271/ was merged.

This is not blocker, in fact there is no regression after the controller patch. What we need to make cluster test stable is:

  • Migrate to OVS 2.5. Some of the cluster unstabilities are because we are using old OVS 2.0.

I will get the above before the end of the week.

Luis is this issue resolved? I see tests are updated and remaining issue (isolate+rejoin) is tracked in OPNFLWPLUG-728.

It is fixed, there is no real issue.
