After the following sequence of operations is followed, the OVSDB southbound MDSAL stops working. 1. configure an OVS host to have a manager of: ovs-vsctl set-manager ptcp:6640
After this point, the SB operational MDSAL is no longer getting populated. Attempting to connect to a different OVS host (e.g. step #2) also does not work. |

quick clarification .. i assume "ptcpt:6640" is typo in step 5? 5. on the OVS host, set the manager again: ovs-vsctl set-manager ptctp:6640 Even though it's not valid connection type, but ovsdb will set it up anyways for you and that can cause issues. |

yes - that was a typo. should be ptcp:6640 |
