 Description

Multimedia Transaction ID shows up as negative number in logs. In the code, a “short” is used for the transaction ID. As Java does not have an unsigned short, for consistency in logging and to ensure any comparison is not affected by this, an “int” type should probably be used for the transaction ID.

Scope of this issue should include research and correction for any other identifiers / length specific variables in use that should be changed.

Per 8/4 working group meeting - Jeff Pedigo (Applied Broadband) & Mircea agree that we’ve fixed the critical instances of this item as of now. We’ll defer cases where something less critical is involved for future. Keep this issue open at low priority.
