 Description   

As noted in CONTROLLER-1903, APIs with org.opendaylight.controller.md.sal are going away in Aluminium. Migrate to their org.opendaylight.mdsal replacements.

apurba Could you please update the status of this activity after discussing with Hematg ? I think rovarga is waiting on this, for his controller patches
