This is related to TRNSPRTPCE-88 where it was discussed what to do after setting the power level on an interface when creating a connection. Currently TransportPCE just waits for a fixed time before changing control mode from Power to GainLoss. But the OpenROADM whitepaper states that as a final step the controller should verify "that the output power reaches the set value (verify pmParameterName/type = opticalPowerOutput)". Do I understand correctly that the current implementation is not really compliant with the OpenROADM specification?
