 Description

Currently the PCE Algorithm validator assigns spectrum/wavelength, precision for frequency based on whether the slot-width-granularity of the device. If it is 50 GHz, then it assumes as fixed grid.

Currently port-mapping does not support mc-capabilities for XPDR node (only supports for RDM). If the first node in the PCE path is XPDR, then it uses default values to set slot-width-granularity as 50 GHz, which causes the mode as fixed grid.

Actions needed:

  • Change the port-mapping to include mc-capabilities for XPDR (7.1) devices.
  • Update the spectrum assignment code to check both slot-width-granularity and central-granularity to decide fixed vs flex grid mode.
