Epic Link: Intermediate rates

 Description

Currently the renderer for intermediate rates for 7.1 models include 200G, 300G and 400G and is based on 63.1 Gbaud. Based on the table below, we determine the rate and the FOIC type for the device renderer.

With roll-of-factor of 0.2, the width would be 75 GHz

Rate FOIC Modulation format
400G 4.8 DP-QAM16
300G 3.6 DP-QAM8
200G 2.4 DP-QPSK

However, if we use 31.6 Gbaud, then we need to use DP-16QAM with FOIC2.8. In this case width would be 37.5 GHz, and total MC would be 50GHz.

Device renderer should be agnostic to the baud rate and should be able to create interface with the respective FOIC type.
