 Description   

The SFC project plans on developing the following features in the Neon release:

  • Enhanced statistics for RSPs, SFFs, and SFs
  • Add CSIT to verify SFC statistics
  • Move PathIds from Operational only to Config data store
  • Non-Logical SFF-SF Eth+NSH encapsulation (consider completely removing SF Vxgpe)
  • External OpenStack traffic classification (NetVirt)
  • Support both Vxlan+Eth+NSH and Vxgpe+NSH on SFF-SFF communication
    • Currently Vxgpe is only used as Vxgpe+Eth+NSH

 

Additionally, the SFC project will work on the following in Neon:

  • Unit test cleanup
  • Increase the Unit test coverage

Please update the release plan to state what was actually delivered during the release.

Also please mention briefly any significant benefit to the users/integrators delivered through the enhancements, if applicable.
