 Description   

New Features

  • NetworkUtils - A new module where many of the network utilities like vniUtils, RDUtils are placed.
  • OFTunnels - For scalability of ITM Full mesh of Tunnels. The feature has not completely made it to Neon.

Genius has mainly focused on quality and performance improvements for Neon.

Some of the major items are :

  • Auto Tunnels hardening
  • ITM Direct Tunnels hardening
  • ITM Yang Cleanup - to deprecate many of the unnecessary models in ITM yang
  • Deprecation of upgrade-in-progress flag in GENIUS
  • Migration to datastore constrained transactions

As part of the CSIT enhancements :

  • Enhancing genius CSIT to 3 node
  • New Test suites added for Auto Tunnels
  • Clean-up of existing test suites for optimisations was done.

Could you please mention if any of the tunnel hardening improvements benefit users/integrators in a significant way?

komerpoodari : All these hardenings were bug fixes, and nothing user facing.
