OpenFlow plugin project provides southbound plugin that manages OpenFlow 1.0 and 1.3 devices. It also provides various applications that provide specific functionality like link discovery, topology management, flow programming etc.

In Oxygen release following new feature and enhancements are delivered:

(1) Device connection management is improved to gracefully handle the connection flapping, dangling connection and multiple connection scenarios.

(2) Reconciliation framework is being developed that  allows application to register to be part of the reconciliation process. That can be useful where user application wants to carry out their reconciliation in ordered and more controlled manner.

(3) Group Add_And_Mod function is added that provides more optimal way to reconcile the group configuration on the device.

(4) Multiple clustering related bugs are fixed to improve the overall clustering stability.

(5) Multiple bug were fixed to increase the overall stability of the cluster.
