 Description

Summary

TSDR would like to be included in the Flourine Release as a SNAPSHOT_Integrated (Managed) project.

  • Flourine Release Plan  TSC-67

Healthy Community

The ODL TSDR project proposal was initiated during the early stages of OpenDaylight with the first release of TSDR in Lithium.  TSDR has been in maintenance mode for a few cycles but anticipates new development in the Flourine release.

Responsiveness

Most all TSDR members are responsive to tsdr-dev, release email, Gerrit and Jira activity.
Recent history might show a lack of action on some non-blocking issues but not for a lack of monitoring radiators.  CSIT and FT test failures will be addressed in Flourine, TSDR-34.

Active Committers

TSDR has four active committers including the project founder YuLing Chen and one roving, ODL subject matter expert contributor and advisor.

TSC Attendance

TSDR will be represented for most TSC meetings.  We currently have our weekly meeting before the TSC meeting, so issues noted will be addressed the following week.

Checkpoints Submitted On-Time

For Oxygen all milestones were submitted.

The TSC did not approve TSDR as a Managed project in Fluorine (TSC vote). It's recommended that TSDR embrace the Unmanged release process, as it's designed for projects exactly like TSDR. If for some reason TSDR still wishes to be Managed, it's recommended that the project establish a history of following Managed release process, including submitting all checkpoints and following all processes, and document doing so. I've talked with scottmelton and YuLing Chen about this at length in private emails.
