Define a simple mapping of effective data model contained in a SchemaContext to a XML Schema Definition and create an implementation which can perform this task. This is useful for interfacing YANG-modeled data with other XML-based tooling. As an example, an EXI yang-data-codec can plug the XSD into the EXI engine as the seed schema, allowing it to perform schema-informed encoding – which can lead to significant space savings. |
