When I use enum as list key, java generated code can not be correctly built.

Could you please specify which version of Yangtools are you using? Also simple model which will expose error behaviour will be helpful.

I believe this is fixed in Lithium as YANGTOOLS-424

SR4 has shipped, with no SR5 being scheduled. Closing as duplicate of BUG-2859, please upgrade to a Lithium release for the fix.
