| Description |
|
Exificient provides (through exificient-grammars) the option to transform an XSD document into a baseline EXI schema. This can then be used to perform schema-aware coding, improving efficiency. |

The implementation should be based on the schema-less codec (BUG-6313) and should be realized as an additional codec factory method, which takes in a SchemaContext, transforms it to XSD defined and implemented in BUG-581. |

An (untested) example of how XSDs are plugged into Exificient is at https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/35136. |
